Gloria Amaya, Intern
Gloria believes healing begins when people experience the safety of being fully seen, heard, and understood without judgment. With a warm, collaborative approach grounded in curiosity and connection, she creates a space where clients can explore the experiences, relationships, and beliefs that have shaped their stories while recognizing the strengths and resilience they already carry.
Gloria is especially drawn to supporting adoptees and people navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, identity, attachment and relationship concerns, and life transitions.
As a Master’s candidate in Counseling and Psychological Services at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, Gloria brings nearly 30 years of experience supporting people in wellness and healing to her work. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they deepen their understanding of themselves and move toward lives that feel more connected, hopeful, and aligned with who they truly are.
