Individual counseling or therapy is a one-on-one method where we work with you to identify challenges that may be inhibiting your daily life. This can be anything from dealing with grief, working through work anxieties, helping you heal from trauma, or talking through changes in relationships.
Therapy sessions are confidential and are set at a pace that will work best for your individual needs. These sessions can cover a variety of concerns to help treat and support mental, behavioral or emotional concerns around:
How does individual therapy work?
At the onset, we talk about the goals and outcomes you wish to achieve from individual therapy. We set a plan and work toward that plan to equip you with additional coping mechanisms, tools or support to move you toward these goals.
Sessions can last anywhere from 45 to 60 minutes. The number and frequency of sessions will depend on many factors and should be addressed with your therapist.
